Accompanied by Zerbach & Company Corporate Finance GmbH ("Z&C"), the owners of Rasche Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG were able to successfully implement the company's succession. The acquirer is the listed Mutares SE & Co. KGaA.
Rasche is based in Plettenberg and is a leading manufacturer of forged parts by hot forming. The company generates revenue of approximately EUR 30 million and employs around 180 people. The automotive, valve and fittings, aviation, forklift, agricultural and mechanical engineering sectors are among its key industries as the main sources of revenue and growth.
Rasche gives the Mutares portfolio company PrimoTECS, which was acquired from the Tekfor Group in February 2020, access to new customers and customer segments as well as an expansion of the product portfolio into smaller batch sizes with manual forging presses. The acquisition underscores the growth strategy and the vision of becoming number one in the industry for forging and machining. With this add-on investment, the PrimoTECS Group grows to a consolidated revenue of approximately EUR 150 million.
