Zerbach & Company Corporate Finance GmbH ("Z&C") advised THUN Automotive on the sale of its shares to SteelCo.Tech GmbH, a portfolio company of Munich-based RCP Group GmbH, in a competitive process completed in just four months.
Founded in 1908, THUN is a manufacturer of metal components with around 400 employees at four locations in Germany and Hungary. The company produces complex stamped and formed parts for the automotive industry, focusing on chassis and structural components as well as crash and safety parts.
SteelCo.Tech is an investment platform of RCP Group, a family-owned Munich-based investment firm specializing in special situations and transformation investments. The platform focuses on investments in metal processing companies serving the automotive industry and other industrial sectors.
